Arabic Teachers’ Training Workshop

As part of its Silver Jubilee celebrations, the Department of Arabic, University of Kerala, is organizing a five-day national level workshop on "Arabic Teachers’ Training Workshop" from 07^th to 11^th September 2026. This workshop is designed to equip educators with contemporary language teaching curricula, leadership capabilities, AI-supported instructional tools, educational psychology, student-centric methodologies, and vital life skills to significantly elevate Arabic language education.

The training workshop is crucial for equipping teachers with contemporary pedagogical methods, digital resources, and assessment techniques to enhance language instruction effectively. Kerala has approximately 6,000 Arabic language teachers in the government sector, highlighting the urgent need for structured training in language teaching and essential soft skills. Many graduating students from our department, along with alumni, exhibit a strong passion for teaching. The department has previously conducted similar workshops, significantly impacting both teachers and students.  The workshop is aimed to impart lessons to the participants with regard to:
